Summer nurtrition programs for kids

School is out, summer meals are in! Galax City Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, or age. There will be no discrimination during the meal service. Meals must be consumed on site in the school cafeteria. Meals will be provided, on a first-come, first-served basis, at the sites and times as follows:

Galax High School, 200 Maroon Tide Drive, Galax, VA
Meals served: June 2 - June 27, 2025, July 7- August 8, 2025
Breakfast hours: 7 am – 8:30 am Lunch hours: 11 am - 12:30 pm

Galax Elementary School, 300 McArthur Street, Galax, VA
Meals served: June 2 - June 27, 2025, July 7- August 8, 2025
Breakfast hours: 7 am - 8 am Lunch hours: 10:30 am - Noon
