Seniors: Jostens will be here Monday, March 24 during lunches to distribute your graduation caps and gowns. If you have a remaining balance due on your account, this must be paid in full before you will receive your cap and gown. Please see Mrs. Guynn with any questions.

All MED Boys & Girls basketball recognitions have been announced. Eyan Noel made 2nd team and Shawn Lundy and Ethan Bagley received Honorable Mention. For Girls Basketball, Jenna Sawyers made 1st Team, Kayla Young and Keely Bartlett made 2nd Team, and Kacie Young and Jayden Leonard received honorable mention. This is a tribute to the hard work and dedication these athletes displayed. We are so proud of each of you - congratulations!

Congratulations to all GHS Fall Sports teams for earning the VHSL Stay in the Game Award! The Stay in the Game Award is presented by Wells Fargo to recognize schools that receive no player or coach ejections during each sports season. #GalaxReady

We simply cannot be more proud of our exceptional band!! Your Galax Maroon Tide Band traveled to Virginia High for their VBODA concert assessment today. They received a SUPERIOR rating which now makes them a Virginia Honor Band. This is a HUGE achievement. #GalaxReady

Congratulations to Galax Wrestling for their outstanding performance at State Competition! They finished up 6th keeping alive their streak of 12 years in the top ten teams in the state. Nine wrestlers qualified and 3 placed-Cristhian Leon finished 4th at 126 lbs, Edwar Morales finished 3rd at 144 lbs, and Braeden Whitaker finished 2nd at 157 lbs. Amazing!! #GalaxReady
